I started lampworking in
2007 after a one to one day with Sally Carver and after developing my skills virtually full time from my very first class, launched Helen G Beads and taught my first lampwork class in 2009. Since
then I have had tuition and taken masterclasses with the following national and international lampwork artists:
Carla De Francesco
In April 2014 I was invited to be one of the 4 guest artists to demonstrate and teach at the UK Flame Off - the largest event of it's kind in Europe. I have had tutorials published in various national and international magazines and my work is widely shared on the internet.
I am a member of The International Society of Glass Beads (ISGB) and am a listed with them as an instructor. Thier website gives some valuable information with regards to choosing a good instructor and I am happy to answer any questions you may have prior to booking your class.
I find there are 2 categories of beginners, those that want a day out doing something a little different and those that are intending to take up bead making in the future and want to learn a few basic skills. I can tailor your lesson to suit your individual requirements.
